The trailer for Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness has been released, and it potentially teases a very exciting crossover.
at around the 1:19 mark, someone's voice can be heard saying: "You should tell him the truth" as an imprisoned Strange is brought in front of them.but it sounds to us a lot like Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart), creator of the X-Men.
One of the scenes in the trailer also teases the addition of Monica Rambeau, the daughter of the late Maria Rambeau from Captain Marvel, who seems to be making a glimpse during a fight with Scarlet Witch.
Based on Strange Supreme never truly being evil and the high number of other possible enemies, Multiverse of Madness' villain is not Evil Strange.
Directed by original Spider-Man trilogy director Sam Raimi and written by Loki show-runner Michael Waldron, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released in theatres on May 6, 2022.
