PM Cares for Children Scheme Ministry of women and child development has issued guidelines and eligibility; registry till December 31.
To support children who lost their parents to COVID-19, the Central Government has issued guidelines for the PM CARES to go that was publicized anteriorly this stretch.
Under this go, the government will grant resemblant children a recurrent payment once they attain 18 stretches until they attain 23 stretches of age.
The Centre will start a corpus fund of Rs 10 lakh which the scholar will take at the age of 23. The ministry of women and child development will be the nodal ministry for the perpetration of this scheme.

The PM CARES support is applicable to children who have lost both parents or surviving parents or legal guardians or natural parents in the sickness between March 11, 2020, and December 31, 2021. The successors of PM CARES will also be covered under Ayushman Bharat Scheme, or PM-JAY, with a health insurance cover of Rs 5 lakhs, till 18 whiles of age, paid for by the PM CARES fund.
On May 29, primary minister Narendra Modi had promulgated that the Centre will financially support children who lost both their parents due to coronavirus. Eligible children are taken to register for the scheme before December 31, 2021, to use of benefits of the PM-CARES for Children Scheme. So far, the government has taken usages out of which 845 usages have been approved, PTI reported.
Education for children under PM CARES
For children below six spans of age, linked representatives will enter support and help from the Anganwadi services for supplementary nutrition, pre-school education, immunization, health referrals, and health check-up.
For children below 10 spans, the Centre will ice admission of eligible children in any nearest government, government- helped, Kendriya Vidyalaya or private academy.
Children will be handed uniforms, primers and notepads as per Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan. Those enrolled in private academies won’t have to pay the teaching damages. Between 11 times and 18 times, children will enter hand from the government to get enrolled in homelike academies like Netaji Subhash Chand Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Eklavya Model Schools, Sainik School, and Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Education loans, scholarships
The government will also deliver aid to attain education loans for professional courses in advanced educational institutes across the country. However, either the interest on the educational loan will be paid by the central government, If the pupil is inapt to account for interest immunity offered under other Central and state government schemes.
Education as per the ethics will be delivered to the devisees of the PM CARES for Children Scheme from the schemes of the ministry of social justice and accreditation, the ministry of ethnic affairs, the ministry of adolescence affairs, and the department of advanced education. Beneficiaries will be assisted through the National Scholarship Portal. The education awarded to the devisees will be contemporized on the PM CARES for Children portal, the guidelines stated.
