A notification was published on the official website of Odisha Public Service Commission inviting the eligible and interested candidates to apply for the 1871 Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) vacancies from 12 November 2021 to 13 December 2021, candidates who have applied for the same may download their OPSC MO Admit Card 2022. The written examination will be conducted between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on the day of the examination, but for people with disabilities, it will be held until 2:00 PM.

Following is a list of four examination centers where written recruitment examinations for the position of Medical Officer were conducted.

  • SSV Mandir, Tulispur, Chahatnagar, Cuttack
  • Sector-6, CDA, Cuttack, DAV Public School (North Block)
  • Sector-6, CDA, Cuttack, DAV Public School (South Block)
  • School of Engineering, Bhubanananda, Cuttack

The total number of vacancies is 1229, of which 1229 are reserved for male candidates and 642 are reserved for female candidates.
