How to Apply Online Application for Admission to class VI NVS 2022-2023?
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS 2022-2023) has extended the deadline for applying to December 15. Candidates can apply via the official website at navodaya.gov.in.
Applicants should apply by December 15 for class 6’s Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) which will be held in April 2022. Candidates can apply online at the official website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).
The deadline for applying for JNVST Class 6 was extended to November 30, 2021, from November 30, 2021. The selection test for Class 6 JNVST will be administered in one phase.

Eligiblity Criteria for NVS 2022-2023 Admission Entrance Test
The candidate must have been born after April 30, 2013, and before May 1, 2009, to qualify for the examination.
The applicant must be enrolled in class 5 during the academic session 2021-22, either in a government/government-aided or other recognized school or an accredited ‘B’ certificate competency course offered by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) situated in the same district as the applicant where he/she is seeking admission.
The test carries 100 marks, has three sections, lasts for one hour, and is an objective-type test. Mental ability questions and arithmetic questions will be included.
NVS ADMIT CARD DOWNLOAD
NVS will make the admit cards available in due course as per the date notified on the application portal. The candidates and parents will be able to download the admit cards free of charge before the JNVST is conducted.
Result of the Selection Test
The result of the JNV Selection Test 2022 is expected to be announced by June 2022. Candidates can get the result from the admission portal. The result will also be displayed in the offices of the concerned:
i. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
ii. District Education Officer
iii. District Magistrate
iv. Deputy Commissioner, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti of the Region.
v. The website of the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti www.navodaya.gov.in.
The Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya concerned, will also inform the
selected candidates through SMS on the registered mobile number followed
by a speed post.
DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AFTER SELECTION
i) Proof of date of birth.
ii) Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS.
iii) For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also
have to submit a certificate from the competent authority to the effect
that the child had studied in an Institution / School located in a rural area.
iv) Residence Certificate in prescribed proforma in case of NIOS studies only
v) Any other documents required.
