NVS Class 9 admission 2021 registration begins; Check eligibility, exam pattern

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) begins the registration process for JNVST Class 9 admission 2021 for the lateral entry test. The last date to submit the appliance form for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test is October 31. Students who want to use for the NVS Class 9 admission can register on the official website – navodaya.gov.in. the choice test for admission to Class 9 is going to be conducted on April 9, 2022, in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the concerned district or the other center allotted by NVS.

NVS Class 9 admission 2021: Eligibility criteria

  • Only those candidates who are studying Class 8 during the tutorial session 2021-22 in one among the government/ government-recognized schools of the district where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is functioning and where admission is sought are eligible.
  • Candidates appearing for the admission test must qualify/ pass Class 8 within the school term 2021-22 from a Govt./Govt. Recognized school within the district where he/she is seeking admission.
  • The students who have already passed Class 8 in previous academic sessions aren’t eligible.
  • A candidate seeking admission must change state between 01.05.2006 and 30.04.2010 (both days inclusive). this is often applicable to all or any categories of candidates including those that belong to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribe.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti reserves the proper to refer any candidate to a medical board for confirmation of the age, just in case any doubt arises about the age on the idea of the certificate produced by the candidate before confirmation of admission.

JNVST Class 9 exam pattern 2021

The duration of the choice test is going to be of two and a half hours. However, in respect of candidates with special needs (Divyang), a further time of fifty minutes is going to be provided, subject to the assembly of certificates from the competent authority. The medium of examination is going to be English or Hindi. Students need to answer within the OMR sheet.
