Gate Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will close the GATE 2022 enrollment with a late charge by-and-by, October 7. GATE 2022 is enrolled to be conducted on February 5, 6, 12, and 13. GATE admit card 2022 will be released for all registered appliers on January 3.

• Sourav Duari said that he had no proper plan and strategy for the GATE. When he started preparation for the GATE exam, his third-semester exams were knocking on his door. So, it was very difficult for him to maintain a proper schedule.

• He said he prepared himself for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) exam and it helped him to crack the GATE exam with such a good score.

• To crack the GATE exam 2022, he advised aspiring candidates to “just clear their concepts and keep practicing problems”.

• According to him, every student should follow their own GATE preparation strategy which suits them best.

• He dedicated himself to GATE preparation after his 7th-semester exams. He dedicated all the free time that he got after his online classes and assignments toward his exam preparation.

• He solved previous year’s GATE questions and he studied each topic in detail from various sources across the internet, as per the syllabus. The hours that he put in per day for the GATE preparation were dependent on the time he got free from his online classes and assignments. When the GATE exam was near, he studied for nearly 15 to 16 hours a day.

• “In order to crack the GATE 2022 exam, candidates should efficiently utilize available time and resources,” he said.

GATE 2021 topper, Navneet Gangwar, (AIR 4 CS)

• Navneet Gangwar advised the aspiring candidates to start the GATE exam preparation as early as possible.

• “GATE previous year’s question papers, mock test series, and revisions are the key to crack GATE exam 2022. The amount of time one has to put depends on person to person,” he added.

• He asked aspirants to have faith in themself and prepare well for the GATE 2022 exam.

• He suggested going through the GATE 2022 syllabus precisely, take suggestions from professors and seniors to delineate the important topics.

• He recommends reading the best books and practicing past years’ GATE question papers.

• GATE 2022 exam preparation from the 6th semester will be good. It is important to clear the concepts and revise the topics on regular basics.

• Aspirants should understand their strengths and weakness, develop the preparation strategy according to that.
