The National Testing Agency (NTA) organizes the Common University Entrance Test (CUET Exam). CUET will be organized for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the first time this year. For PG courses this year, some universities have decided to skip the entrance exam, even though the entrance exam is compulsory for admission to UG courses in all central universities.
CUET UG and PG exam dates have been released. As per the official dates, CUET UG registration has already concluded while CUET PG registration will end on June 18, 2022. The application process for CUET PG 2022 will conclude on cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Students are advised not to enroll in any extra coaching classes for CUET Exam UG as all questions set by the National Testing Agency (NTA) will come from NCERT Class XII textbooks. In the same way, CUET PG candidates will be able to prepare for the PG entrance exam by studying the course they studied for their undergraduate degree. Nevertheless, that is not yet officially announced.

CUET UG exam pattern
CUET 2022 will consist of three sections: Section I (IA and IB) is meant to assess a candidate’s language skills, Section II is meant to assess their grasp of core subjects, and Section III will test their general knowledge. Furthermore, Section I is divided into two sections – IA and IB — where IA will assess knowledge of English and an Indian language (from a list of: Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia) and section IB is for those looking to enroll in undergraduate degree programmes in foreign languages.
Among the languages offered are French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian and Chinese.

Exam dates for CUET-UG 2022
July 15 and August 10. Exam dates are July 15, July 16, July 19, July 20, and August 4, August 5, August 6, August 7, and August 8. During the computer-based test, candidates will be required to answer multiple choice questions (MCQs).
How many students will appear for CUET-UG 2022
CUET-UG 2022 has received over 9,50,804 applications for admission to 86 universities. There are 43 central universities, 13 state universities, 12 deemed universities, and 18 private universities. Therefore, CUET is now the second-largest undergraduate admissions exam in the nation, just behind NEET UG. There are 33 languages and 27 different courses that candidates can choose from, and they can take the exam in any of the 13 available media.
Negative marking scheme in CUET 2022
Yes, students will receive negative marks for incorrect answers as well as marks for each correct response. A wrong answer will result in a mark deduction. There is no deduction for not responding to a question.
